The image, previously believed to be from Vinnytsia, Ukraine, is now attributed to Berdychiv, Ukraine, dated July 28, 1941. AI analysis revealed a high match with Jakobus Onnen, a Nazi Party member and educator. The historian is now working to identify the victim in the photograph.
