Chiefs of Growth: Indian CMOs Outpace the Globe in Funding Autonomous AI

A new Boston Consulting Group report reveals India has become the world’s most marketing-led AI investment market. A massive 57% of Indian Chief Marketing Officers (CMOs) are funding AI directly from their own budgets, compared to a 47% global average. Furthermore, 73% of Indian CMOs are prioritizing "agentic commerce"—using networks of autonomous AI agents to run marketing campaigns and drive business growth.
