Meta Hires Two Apple AI Researchers to Bolster Superintelligence Labs
Meta Platforms has recruited Apple AI researchers Mark Lee and Tom Gunter for its Superintelligence Labs team, following its earlier poaching of their manager, Ruoming Pang. Lee has already joined Meta, while Gunter is set to start imminently. The hires underscore Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg’s aggressive strategy to attract top talent and accelerate development of advanced AI systems that could rival human-level intelligence.
