Open Ledger Introduces PokéTax: Gamifying Tax Preparation with AI Assistance

Open Ledger has launched PokéTax, a game that transforms tax filing into an interactive experience. Players engage with "Tax Trainers" each representing sections of a tax form like income, deductions & credits, who pose questions to guide users through the filing process. An integrated AI assistant organizes responses and upon completion users are directed to the IRS Direct File site for official submission. Co-founders Pryce Adade-Yebesi & Ashtyn Bell developed this to make tax filing engaging.
