US AGs Demand AI Safeguards for Children

A coalition of 42 US Attorneys General has sent a stark warning to major AI companies, including Microsoft, Meta, Google, and Apple, about the risks posed by chatbots, especially to children. Citing alarming reports of AI bots engaging in sexually inappropriate or harmful conversations, the AGs demanded immediate, effective safeguards to protect vulnerable users.
