Tech Upgrade: Amazon Accelerates Automation in Indian Fulfillment Centers

Amazon is expanding automation and robotics, like the SLAM automated labeling system, across its Indian fulfillment network to boost inventory management efficiency. Backed by a planned $35 billion investment in India through 2030, Robotics Chief Technologist Tye Brady confirmed continued operational upgrades. Additionally, Brady cautioned policymakers against over-regulating evolving AI and supply chain technologies too early, warning it could stifle crucial innovation.
