Twitter and Meta purge accounts spreading pro-US propaganda abroad

<p>Both Meta and Twitter refrained from linking a pro-American influence effort that has been revealed by social networks in cooperation with the Stanford Internet Observatory and the social analytics research organization Graphika. This campaign is active on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media platforms. The network of accounts promoted pro-Western perspectives throughout Asia and the Middle East in an effort to sway public opinion there.</p>
