Canada’s OTPP Eyes $50M Stake in Darwinbox, Valuation Tops $1 Billion

The Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan (OTPP) is nearing a $50 million investment in Hyderabad-based HR SaaS firm Darwinbox, valuing the company at over $1 billion. The deal spans both primary and secondary transactions, allowing Peak XV Partners to partially exit its six-year-old stake. Darwinbox serves more than 1,000 enterprises globally and is projecting strong revenue growth—especially from recent expansion into the U.S. market.
