Chinese Autonomous Firm WeRide Seeks $308M in Hong Kong IPO

Chinese autonomous driving company WeRide is targeting a capital raise of approximately HK$2.39 billion (about $307.7 million) through its initial public offering in Hong Kong. The Guangzhou-based firm plans to sell 88.3 million shares at a price of HK$27.10 per share. This move follows the company's 2024 Nasdaq listing and comes amidst a trend of U.S.-listed Chinese companies seeking secondary listings in Hong Kong.
