Cohere has secured $500 million in a funding round—up from $500 million last year—boosting its valuation from $5.5 billion to $6.8 billion. The round was led by Radical Ventures and Inovia Capital, with AMD Ventures, Nvidia, and Salesforce Ventures doubling down on support. Specializing in secure, enterprise-focused language models, Cohere recently struck deals with Oracle, Dell, SAP, RBC, and LG, while also hiring Joëlle Pineau (ex-Meta AI lead) as Chief AI Officer.
