Global Generative AI Spending Projected to Reach $644 Billion in 2025

According to Gartner, global spending on generative AI (GenAI) is expected to hit $644 billion in 2025, marking a 76.4% increase from 2024. This surge is primarily driven by the integration of AI capabilities into hardware, including servers, smartphones, and PCs, which will account for 80% of the expenditure. Despite initial challenges and high failure rates in early GenAI projects, ongoing investments aim to enhance model performance and reliability.
