Google Fights DOJ's Call for Ad Tech Business Breakup

Google is making its final arguments in a US antitrust trial, aiming to avoid a court-ordered forced sale or breakup of its lucrative AdX ad exchange. A US District Court Judge has already ruled that Google holds two illegal ad tech monopolies. The company argues that a breakup would be technically complex and harm customers, while the DOJ insists only a forced sale will restore competition.
