HDFC Bank has made its inaugural foray into generative AI by investing in Bengaluru-based CoRover, creator of the multilingual BharatGPT. This partnership underscores the bank’s commitment to fostering AI that supports India’s linguistic diversity, aiming to scale BharatGPT’s reach across critical sectors—especially in underserved regions. CoRover, with over 1 billion users and 25,000 enterprise clients, also offers BharatGPT Mini for offline, low-end device accessibility.
