Hyderabad Man Loses ₹12.5 Lakh in Online Stock Trading Scam

A resident of Begum Bazaar, Hyderabad, was duped of ₹12.5 lakh in a cyber fraud involving a fake stock trading app. Fraudsters lured him via a social media ad, added him to a WhatsApp group posing as market experts, and showcased a false rising balance. When he declined further payments, they froze his funds and threatened forfeiture.
