India-UK Quantum Computing Tie-Up Gains Spotlight Ahead of UK PM’s Mumbai Visit
India and the UK are planning a strategic research collaboration between Imperial College London and IIT Bombay to apply quantum computing and biotechnology for climate-resilient agriculture. The partnership, part of the India-UK Technology Security Initiative (TSI), aims to model plant–microbe interactions, strengthen food security, and deepen bilateral ties during Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s upcoming Mumbai trip.
