Infosys McCamish to Pay $125K in US Cyberprobe over 2023 Breach
Infosys McCamish Systems (IMS), a U.S. subsidiary of Infosys BPM, has agreed to pay a $125,000 administrative penalty to the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation. The settlement resolves a 2023 cybersecurity incident, closing the case without admitting wrongdoing. IMS was found to have failed in providing timely, accurate information and delayed notification to data owners. Earlier, IMS set aside $17.5 million to settle related class-action lawsuits.
