JICA Commits $40 Million to Aavishkaar Capital’s Global Supply Chain Support Fund

Japan’s development finance agency, JICA, has pledged $40 million (around ₹334 crore) to Aavishkaar Capital’s Global Supply Chain Support Fund. Announced by PM Shigeru Ishiba at the TICAD 9 forum in Yokohama alongside Indo-African partnership talks, the fund aims to strengthen SMEs in Asia and Africa—focusing on agriculture, food processing, and manufacturing—through structured, non-dilutive credit over a 3–5 year tenure.
