OpenAI Annualized Revenue Skyrockets to $10 B, Doubles Since December 2024
OpenAI has achieved a $10 billion annualized revenue run rate by June 2025—nearly double its $5.5 billion in December 2024. Excluding Microsoft licensing and one-time deals, this surge positions the company to meet its $12.7 billion full-year target, driven mainly by ChatGPT subscriptions and API growth. Despite a $5 billion loss last year, OpenAI now serves 500 million weekly users and 3 million business clients, with plans for a $40 billion funding round.
