Palo Alto Networks to Acquire Chronosphere for $3.35 Billion

Cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks announced it is acquiring cloud management and monitoring company Chronosphere for $3.35 billion in a cash-and-stock deal. The acquisition aims to enhance Palo Alto Networks' AI offerings by integrating Chronosphere with its Cortex AgentiX platform. This integration will enable AI agents to analyze Chronosphere’s data to detect and autonomously remediate cloud performance issues at petabyte scale.
