PhonePe has partnered with Mastercard to introduce device tokenisation on its payments gateway, enhancing the security and efficiency of digital transactions. This collaboration allows users to save their card details once on the PhonePe app and use them seamlessly across various merchants, simplifying the checkout process and reducing transaction drop-offs. Additionally, PhonePe unveiled the Smart Pod, an all-in-one payment device for merchants, enabling both card and UPI payments.
