French B2B neobank Qonto reached 600,000 customers across Europe and has applied for a full banking license in France. Currently operating under a 2018 payment-institution license, securing the new status would allow it to offer loans, savings, and investments directly—key to expanding its services and achieving its 2 million customer target by 2030. The move follows profitability since 2023 and marks a leap toward financial independence.
