Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Sanjay Malhotra has clarified that there are no plans to introduce fees on Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions. This statement aims to alleviate concerns following earlier discussions about the financial sustainability of UPI. Governor Malhotra also expressed confidence in India's economic outlook, highlighting a "very high growth trajectory" and a projected 6.8% growth for the current fiscal year.
