Zomato Parent Eternal Faces ₹40 Crore GST Demand, Plans Appeal

Eternal Ltd, the parent company of Zomato and Blinkit, has received three GST orders from Bengaluru authorities, demanding over ₹40 crore for the period July 2017 to March 2020. The total includes ₹17.19 crore in GST, ₹21.42 crore in interest, and ₹1.72 lakh in penalty. Eternal plans to appeal the orders, expressing confidence in its legal position, supported by legal counsel.
