Netflix Reportedly Considering an Ad-Supported Basic Plan for Users
Netflix is testing a cheaper, ad-supported mobile-only plan called Netflix Basic+ in certain markets, which could help the streaming giant reach price-sensitive customers. Meanwhile, Apple is reportedly planning to release a new, cheaper version of its Apple TV with a focus on gaming and a possible ad-supported model.
