Global Capability Centres (GCCs) in India have outpaced traditional IT services firms in tech hiring for the third consecutive year. In FY26, GCCs added nearly 200,000 net employees—almost doubling the 110,000 added by IT services companies. This aggressive hiring surge is positioning GCCs as the premier hubs for high-end tech talent, particularly in cutting-edge fields like Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud computing, and advanced engineering roles.
