Deel Countersues Rippling, Accusing Rival of Espionage and Financial Misconduct

In a significant escalation of their ongoing legal battle, HR tech company Deel has filed a countersuit against competitor Rippling in Delaware's Superior Court. Deel alleges that Rippling engaged in defamation, deceptive trade practices, and illicitly accessed confidential information by placing an insider within Deel. The lawsuit also accuses Rippling of misappropriating client payroll taxes as revenue. This countersuit follows Rippling's earlier claims that Deel's CEO, Alex Bouaziz.
