Oracle’s first Chief Security Officer, Mary Ann Davidson, has stepped down after a nearly four-decade tenure—marking the end of a security leadership era. A U.S. Navy civil engineer before joining Oracle in 1988, Davidson helped shape the company’s “unbreakable” product security standards. Her exit aligns with Oracle’s internal restructuring to reallocate resources toward AI infrastructure. Day-to-day cybersecurity duties are now overseen by Robert Duhart, formerly of Walmart.
