Nvidia has appointed Bruce Andrews, former Intel government affairs chief and Obama-era Commerce Department official, as its Chief External Affairs Officer. The strategic hire comes as Nvidia faces tightening U.S. export controls and intense regulatory scrutiny over its multi-billion-dollar AI chip sales to China. Andrews, who recently secured billions in CHIPS Act funding for Intel, will lead Nvidia’s Washington, D.C. policy and government relations.
