Speeding Up AI: Amazon and Corning Fast-Track US Fiber Optics in Multi-Billion-Dollar Deal

Amazon and Corning have locked in a multi-billion-dollar partnership to ramp up U.S. production of optical fiber and connectivity products vital for AI data centers. The multi-year deal will generate 1,000 jobs at Corning’s North Carolina facilities. To support this growth, the companies are also launching a joint training program with a local community college to build a skilled workforce of fiber optic technicians.
