Temasek Appoints Ex-DBS Chief Piyush Gupta as India Chairman

Piyush Gupta, former CEO of DBS Group Holdings Ltd., will become the non-executive Chairman of Temasek International's Indian operations starting December 1. Gupta will advise on investment strategies as the Singapore state investor seeks to expand its $50 billion India portfolio. Temasek plans to make larger, more selective bets, including investments in family-owned businesses.
