The Bezos Paradigm: Why AI Will Cause a Labor Shortage, Not Layoffs

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos has dismissed widespread fears that artificial intelligence will make human workers redundant. Speaking at the VivaTech conference, Bezos argued that because human demand for goods and services is virtually unlimited, AI will act as a productivity tool rather than a job killer. Instead of mass unemployment, he predicts the technology will ultimately trigger global labor scarcity.
