At his farewell parade, Telangana's outgoing Director General of Police (DGP), Jitender, emphasized that cybercrimes, narcotics, and inter-state gang activities will persist, urging the police force to leverage technology for effective countermeasures. He lauded the state's achievements in controlling such crimes and maintaining law and order, citing the installation of 1 million cameras and the recruitment of over 14,000 personnel as steps toward enhancing policing capabilities.
