Apple Accuses Former Engineer and Oppo of Stealing Apple Watch Trade Secrets

Apple has filed a lawsuit against its former sensor system architect, Dr. Chen Shi, alleging he downloaded 63 confidential documents on health-sensing technologies just days before leaving to join Oppo. The complaint claims he misled colleagues about his departure and that Oppo’s health VP tacitly encouraged the information collection. Apple asserts this poses a threat to its innovation efforts.
