AWS Invests $50 Billion to Boost US Government AI and Supercomputing

Amazon announced a massive $50 billion investment to expand its artificial intelligence and supercomputing capabilities for US government agencies. This infrastructure commitment will add nearly 1.3 gigawatts of new computing power across AWS Top Secret, Secret, and GovCloud regions, with construction beginning in 2026.
