The Bombay High Court has granted playback singer Asha Bhosle protection against unauthorized use of her voice, image, and likeness by AI platforms and online marketplaces. Justice Arif S. Doctor ruled that such unapproved use infringes upon her personality rights. The court issued a restraining order against entities like Mayk Inc., Amazon, Flipkart, and Google, and ordered the removal of infringing content.
