Brazil to Begin Construction on TikTok Data Center in Six Months, Minister Announces

Brazil is set to commence construction of a TikTok data center in six months, with an estimated investment of 50 billion reais (approximately $9.11 billion). The facility will be located in the Pecém port complex in Ceará, northeastern Brazil, through a partnership between ByteDance and Casa dos Ventos, a wind farm developer. The project aims to leverage Brazil's renewable energy resources and is supported by federal tax exemptions to attract data center investments.
