ChatGPT Launches Global Group Chats for Collaboration

OpenAI has rolled out a group chat feature worldwide for all ChatGPT users (Free, Go, Plus, Pro), allowing up to 20 people to collaborate with the AI in a shared conversation. This feature, powered by GPT-5.1 Auto, helps with planning, decision-making, and brainstorming by offering summaries and suggestions. Importantly, it keeps personal ChatGPT memory private from the group.
