Digital Experts Warn System Constraints Impede Cybercrime Probes

Digital experts at a national conference warned that limited remote capabilities and "disconnected threads" hinder investigations into surging cyberattacks, largely from unfriendly nations. India's losses from cyber fraud jumped 205.6% in 2024 to ₹22,845 crore. Experts urged the adoption of resilient AI-driven defense mechanisms and improved skilling, noting 90% of criminal cases now rely on digital evidence.
