Framework unveiled upcoming experimental upgrades for its second-generation Laptop 16, including a giant haptic touchpad that delivers a MacBook-style feel without physical clicks, and a TrackPoint-style nub, though its implementation faces size constraints. The company is also developing an eGPU enclosure tailored for makers—allowing reuse of modular RTX 5070 GPU units—plus continuing work on One-Key keyboard customization and upcoming 64 GB RAM modules.
