Google is rolling out a feature in Chrome (desktop and Android) that disables notification permissions for websites users haven’t interacted with recently. The change aims to reduce spammy alerts, since less than 1% of notifications receive user engagement. Users will be notified when permissions are revoked and can reverse or disable the auto-revocation feature if desired.
