Google Patent Shows Gemini May Activate by Sensing Your Face

A newly spotted patent reveals that Google is exploring a method to summon its AI assistant Gemini automatically, without voice commands or button presses. Using the capacitive sensor grid in phone screens, the system could detect when your face is close and trigger Gemini. The feature would run on existing hardware and use minimal battery power.
