Equipped with the Telum II processor, the z17 can process up to 450 billion AI inference operations daily, marking a 50% improvement over its predecessor, the z16. This mainframe supports over 250 AI applications, including generative AI and AI agents, and is engineered for seamless integration with existing hardware and software systems.
