Chennai-based Space Kidz India is preparing to launch 'Vayuputhra,' the nation's first electricity-powered, eco-friendly rocket. This zero-emission vehicle uses a rechargeable, modular design made of 3D-printed carbon fiber and biodegradable plastic. Designed for low-altitude research, the project aims to democratize space technology for students and make launches highly cost-effective, with a battery cost of just ₹25 per flight.
