Intel Sues Ex-Employee for $250K Data Theft

Intel has filed a lawsuit against a former software engineer, Jinfeng Luo, accusing him of stealing approximately 18,000 confidential files, valued at $250,000, just before his termination in July 2024. The chipmaker claims Luo bypassed security to copy "Intel Top Secret" documents to a network device and is seeking the return of all stolen intellectual property.
