MagSafe Stands, Not iPhone 17 Pro Design, Cause Display Marks

Apple has clarified that the marks observed on iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max display units are due to "material transfer" from worn MagSafe charging stands in retail stores, not scratches or design flaws. These blemishes can be cleaned off and are not indicative of the phone's durability. Apple assures customers that the devices are designed to withstand typical use without issues.
