MeitY Flags Grok AI Misuse on X Over Obscene Content

India’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has issued a notice to X regarding the misuse of its Grok AI tool to generate obscene and non-consensual content. The government expressed serious concern over the platform’s failure to prevent the creation of harmful material. X is now required to submit a detailed action report, highlighting the urgent need for stricter AI safeguards to protect user safety.
