Meta Eyeing Google & OpenAI Models to Power AI Features Temporarily

Meta’s Superintelligence Labs is reportedly evaluating partnerships with Google’s Gemini and OpenAI’s models to temporarily enhance its AI offerings across Meta apps, especially the Meta AI chatbot. These collaborations serve as stopgap measures while Meta works to advance its in-house next-gen model, Llama 5. Internally, the lab already uses external tools like Anthropic models for internal tasks like coding assistance.
