Microsoft is testing a new "My apps" tab within the Xbox app on Windows 11, designed to streamline PC and handheld gaming. This feature allows users to find, download, and launch third-party applications—including browsers, gaming utilities, and rival storefronts like Battle.net, GOG Galaxy, and browsers—directly from the app, bypassing the Microsoft Store or desktop. Integrated into the Xbox unified gaming library, it enhances usability on devices such as the ROG Ally.
