Microsoft's Headcount Strategy Shifts to AI Leverage

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella indicated that while the company has undertaken mass layoffs, it plans to increase its headcount in the future. However, he stressed that new hires will operate with "a lot more leverage" due to artificial intelligence. Nadella expects an unlearning and learning phase over the next year as employees integrate AI tools to maximize productivity and efficiency.
