New Aadhaar App to Promote Secure, Paperless ID Verification

The UIDAI is preparing to launch a new Aadhaar app to encourage secure, paperless identity sharing and offline verification. The app will let users share complete or selective Aadhaar information, have details for up to five family members, and feature one-click biometric lock/unlock for enhanced privacy and security.
